Mount Wellington, 6 January 1940

No trip to Tasmania would be complete without climbing to the top of Mount Wellington. The Pinnacle Drive leading to the top was opened on 23 January 1937, only three years before the photographs were taken. Our visitors seemed to be lucky with the weather that day. The temperature in January on Mount Wellington is between 5 °C (average low) to 13 °C (average high). The views worth the trouble though.
